This ruby bead bracelet is an exceptional piece designed by Frank Hess for Miriam Haskell. As Cathy Gordon explains in Miriam Haskell Jewelry: "…  beads were strung on multiple strands of thin elastic that passed through several flat metal bars with equidistant holes". On this jewel, the bars designed to keep the three strands from tangling are embellished with diamantés. The elastic, which has been replaced by my expert jeweler, stretches over your hand. Although some of the diamantés have darkened, this gorgeous bracelet from my personal collection still has loads of sparkle.
