From 1964-1973 approximately 270 million bombs were dropped on Laos by the USA. An estimated 80 million failed to detonate. Village Artisans melt down this war scrap and recast the aluminium bomb casings into beautiful Peace Bangles, providing sustainable income for the metal workers and contributes to the development of the community. 

A collaboration between The Peace Project and Village Artisans in Laos, Loom Designs donates $1 from the sale of every Peace Bangle to COPE Laos, rehabilitating UXO survivors.
